Does anyone know any good general weather sites?
I'm Ten Tors training again this weekend on Dartmoor and i need a decent forecast- including useful things like visibility, hour by hour rainfall and cloud cover...

xc weather would be your best bet because it's for pilots and those who take to the skies.  There is a visibility option in the menu on the left.  You just need to check your nearest airfield - probably Cardinham.

Metcheck would be my prefered site too but the Ten Tors website has a link to the relevant Met Office page - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/sw/sw_forecast_weather.html - clicky

The main thing I'm worried about is the visibility- the fog can really come down and the navigation gets very tough...
