Its turned ito a bit of a farse now really, Club Med against Enza with that head start, foregone conclusion really. I know there has been a bit of bad luk but still, you have to ask if there is much point in finishing it. ------------- FLAT IS FAST! Shifts Happen |

Well Doha 2006 (ex Club Med) could also lose their mast and hey presto Tony Bullimore just needs to finish to win the grand prize. Isn't it a million dollar prize? It's all relative - if the Ellen hadn't broken the record and the Vendee hadn't had such a good finish would you have thought the same? But I suggest it looks unlikely to be a roaring success that will grow to dominate the RTW calendar in the future... |
