Bit of an odd request this, but I'm doing a slightly unusual challenge on June 6th of aiming to cross from Gosport to the Isle of Wight, on a pedalo, in aid of the Wessex Rehabilitation centre, as per the website http://www.thegreatsolentpedal.com - here

The issue I have is that we had a couple of support boats in place, unfortunately the company who were kindly supplying them, has gone into administration, therefore I'm currently trying to source an alternative and wondered if you had any suggestions for who may be able to help.

I believe that due to the nature of this event, that this will attract a lot of PR for anyone involved, we already have a few people interested and was about to send out some press releases, but obviously I don't want to do this until such time that we have everything in place.

If anyone could help, or have any useful contacts, please let me know!

If you were to ask at the local sailing clubs they may be able to help with the support boat for costs & a mention in the newspaper when the locals/nationals cover the event?.

It`s good press for everybody!.

Bossy - If you were to click on the clubs section in the header bar at the top of the page you would be able to zoom in on your area & click on the local clubs which should allow you to enter the website & then the contact us page for that club.

I can get you 2 ribs, ones the scouts and the other belongs to my dad, also
if i have enough notice i can probs get hold of another 2, potentially 3. Just
need to confirm that im free those dates to sort it all out.

Excellent, thanks for the offers guys.

Probably only need 1 or 2 as an absolute max, as only one pedalo, but just get the feeling that if something goes wrong, it tends to go badly wrong!
