wave rider i used to have hiking pants, they didnt really help me and i found that after i stopped using them i built up alot more muscle.

Nope no probs with sewed in battens, most hikers have 'em non removable. Pro wnnabe, your old hikers must have been non-existant if they didnt help!

I used 2 have a pair of really rubbish ones that flopped around all over the place, i used them 4 about 3 races and then gave up, u dont need them neway if u can put up with a bit of pain.

yeh you don't need anethestic before an operation if you can put up with pain....

.... Makes life alot more comfortable though

(same with hikers but less extreme!)

those hikers may look good but they are s**t i had a pair and they always sliped round to the sides of your legs so they didnt do any thing and they wore out so much the battens fell out in half a season. get a pair of rooster 3/4 lengths can't beat them
