I have absolutely no interest in cars, but have found the BBC's Top Gear to be the funniest show on at the moment. Makes me laugh more than any comedy!

Can somebody please go and film a sailing version of Top Gear - even if it's just some 3 minute videos on YouTube I'd love to see it done, even without celebrities.

road trips? = sailing round the country, specials at other clubs.... hmmm ive
been inspired....

Star in a reasonably priced dinghy could be hilarious! Can you imagine the amount of people that would get stuck in irons or go for a swim? Personally I think the first star to have a go should be Jeremy Clarkson.

Would be tricky to do though because of the different wind strength/tide each week. Perhaps use one of those swimming pool thingys with the big fans that the windsurfers use?

I fancy seeing what West Coast Customs (from Pimp My Ride for the uninitiated)would do to a dinghy.

Would be one hell of a pimp job.

NEVER! Every time i try using a pc after getting what must be my 3rd mac
now, i get everything wrong and cant use it! Hence the mac must stay!
(dont
make me start the mac/windows debate!)

YandY did do that in one issue, was pimp my dinghy, they pimped a
fireball and yep, it looked fantastic! Will see if i can track down the
photos....

Maybe the Star in a reasonably priced dinghy would have to crew for the Stig, given that most wouldn't be able to sail at all. It would then need to be in something like an RS Vision - or is that too upmarket?

Or less attractively (what with my dislike of both Alan and Jimmy) "A Carr in a reasonably priced Star".

Hottie in a Yachtie is an amusing feature title, but can you rhyme anything with "dinghy"? Apart from Alinghi!

Mingie in a dinghy?

Not a very appealing thought though.
