Was out today working, fine on the land but as soonas I blasted in the rescue boat, boy was it "fresh"

Anyway, this forums getting a little dull tonight so I thought I'd start the Snow thread, as we are going to get it.

Do you think its going to be like this?

Having just looked out the window, yes...
In the next in a long catalogue of annoying injuries this year I've done myself a toe injury so i doubt I'll be sailing regardless...

its quite nice opening the curtains to see a white layer outside, even if you have a shocking day lined up...

then it rained...

Helm's got a cold. Woke up. took a look at the slush and rain, decided sailing a club laser wasn't enough to get me moving, went back to sleep.

Just driven from the St Davids to Home - 200ish miles and 4 hours

We have had

Sunshine

Rain

Hail

15C

3C

Gale force winds

Flat Calm

I think today is a question of where are you and what do you want.  Not got your desired weather, hang around for a couple of hours

Here in the midlands we had the usual noncey southern shandy drinkers snow (ie a light dusting amounting to sod all) then torrential rain then sunshine and then a couple of squalls. Had a cracking race this morning but cooked a bit in the drysuit............

woke up with a stinking hangover, all ready to go yacht racing, to see it pouring down with snow!  quickest the hangover has disapeared - ever!  also the quickest ive wanted to get back off the boat.  snow turned into sleet then rain, then flat calm and bright sunshine.  thankfully we were back in the bar by the time the sun came out!

Snowing when I got up this morning, but it had stopped and started melting by the time I left for work. The road down the hill was still white though, had to drive very gingerly. Surprised the wife, she’s never not used to me driving slowly.
