right, im crewing one of these now at restronguet SC. i know how assy's etc all work, am quite happy trapezing. any little hints/ tips/ quirks etc you guys can give me so my helm and i can spend the time upright instead of swimming around what are my key roles (talking upwind, downwind its obv the kite) do i need to do anything different than i would expect from my crew in a 29er etc? ------------- Landlocked in Africa RS300 - 410 Firefly F517 - Nutshell Micro Magic RC yacht - Eclipse |

you dont have to do the main. center main sheet its not off the boom like most skiffs. |

If its light be ready to fight your way round infront of the mast with the jib coming the other way in tacks. ------------- 600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it. Also International 14, 1318 |

well we had our first sail today in about 14knots or so. was great fun. we got on really well and seemed to improve over the 1.5hours we got on the water. the thing that kept catching me off guard was the acceleration you get going upwind when you sail into a gust. no capsizes though  ------------- Landlocked in Africa RS300 - 410 Firefly F517 - Nutshell Micro Magic RC yacht - Eclipse |
