600 mast track

Hi everyone,

after this weekends fun and games i now need to glue my mast track (aluminium) back onto the mast (carbon). Anyone know what glue to use?

Any help gratefully appreciated

which part of it came off? i assume this must be a selden mast (angel ones had the track moulded in as part of the mast).

I had the same problem as you earlier in the year.

The glue i used was suplied by LDC with a special glue gun to apply it for about £20 which done the job and is still going strong.

it popped out of the sail feeder and only pulled up about 30cm from the bottom and it is a super spar,

that glue gun stuff sounds intersting, might look into that, do you know the name?

make sure you glue it all back down. Try not to miss the bit just under where it pulled off to if you can. It might be worth taking off a big section to glue the whole lot back down properly, unless the rest really wont come off.
