I went to see the LHC in july with college, it was really really really big. Really HUUUUGGGGE. Thos detectors are about 3 stories high, all of it is electrical gubbins apart from the tube that the protons fly round in which is about 15cm diameter. You really have to see it to understand just how much gadgetry there is in each of those massive caverns. ------------- 600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.
