I dunno if anyone will know this but is Mist grey gel coat for the RS boats the same as Vela grey gel coat for the laser? it looks pretty similar, buat i cant be arsed to put it on and rub it off again if its wrong. anyone else as big a cheap scape as me and tried it?

I know what you mean, I have a laser and a RS, yes tey do look similar but I recon it will be different.

It depends where the repair is and how big it is.

I did a small thumb size repair to my Laser using white gell coat cos I was a bigger cheap scape, looks ok cos its "weathered" by by sea oils!

vela grey is much darker, than the rs one however dawn grey is much lighter and very similar to the RS version

but if you want an exact RS match then it is actualt scott bader gel coat silver grey is the colour cant remember the number off the top of my head though
