It's a waste of time because you still see it when people quote them.

There's not thirty thousand inane threads about foiling using the same small number of photos (the owners of some of which have requested he doesn't use) with long rants, contradicting himself and telling people with plenty of experience of building and sailing real foilers that they don't know anything.

That link doesn't work for everyone, but I assume you are talking about the ability to ignore posts from certain people.

The forum does not currently have that option but we do need to upgrade soon, so it might appear then.

Just had a look and registered, better forum software, but looks full of
yanks, so if it's anything like the International Kiteforum, will be full of
moronangst and quite aggressive I guess, maybe I shall lurk a bit before
introducing them to the hetracil site..

Full of yanks, aussies, kiwis, assorted europeans and the occasional canadian. THe yanks, in general, are pretty easy going lot. As long as you ignore the "Political Anarchy" folder.

Couple of ground rules:
newbies are flamed. get over it
"Friday" is code for "naked females herein"

Also expect to see "STFU " and "HTFU" a lot, plus pretty much anything goes, and it takes a lot to get chucked off their forum, and be careful till you get rid of your noob status or you likely get flamed by at least one of them!
