Don't they get fed up with red spinnakered skiffy boats about to broach off the
back of the wave?

Too bloody right it's better, I took it, and we printed it first...

The reason we chose that cover shot was to tie in with the RS Anniversary
report in the mag, which was a big event near the time it was printed.

Needs to sail more...

Dan and Jamie (in Toms pic) are mates of mine. They sail at my club and
they are bloody good sailors. They got bronze in the the fireball nationals
(or some other big fireball event) after just 2 years of sailing. That is quite
impressive.

Tis a good picture aswell

I think you're fighting a loosing battle GRF, looks like the masses like to see pictures of red spinnakered skiffy boats just like car magazines tend to put Porches and Ferraris on the cover and FHM likes to put Gemma Atkinson on theirs

the top picture definately looks better, you can see the grins on the guys faces, but the boat in the second picture looks much better. as for red kites, we all know red ones go faster!

Dear oh dear GRF them eyes aren't getting any better are they? The top one is clearly a Mirror or Cadet.  I think you have become obsessed with skiffs with red sails,  get yourself back to the home and ask the nice nurse to make you a cup of ovaltine and put that nice Dick van Dye on the telly.

The rest of you stop encouraging him, it comes to us all in time!

I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

One is a magazine with the word 'Kids' in large letters on the front, and possibly dodgy?

LOL The joys of hotlinking!

Grumpf lifted the cover image for the previous issue of Y&Y, which looked very similar to the Dinghy magazine.

However, the new issue's published and the link's been updated, hehe...
