Whats grade Stainless steel rod do people use for there 'T' foil actuator rods? We are talking internal rudder 'T' foil activation not fixed 'T' foil rudder rotation systems.

Suppliers would be good to!

Currently found model shops that supply it but they say not marine. the other place I have found is 303 grade. Not sure if that's a good grade or not?

I can't help with rod but I know that marine grade is 316 or 316L.

303 does have between 17-19% Cromium within it which is where the corrosion resistance comes in however only claims good corrosion resistance in mild environs.

I would be inclined to look around to try an find marine grade (316 / 316L) supliers.
