I was interested to see the Sunfish at this years Excel Boat Show. I've no idea what it might be like to sail but it looked very well put together, and I reckon that it would be very quick to rig,

Great for cursing around off a beach. In a sort of strange Caribbean flavoured 'swallows and amazons' way. Not sure I'd want to race it.

Looked pretty fast to me, nice hull shape and biiig sail.

IMHO it looked well thought out and made and probably sails reasonably
well but it is a rather doggish looking thing.

Sailed on hoilday.  Can't judge it on its layout, as it was a beach boat, so it wouldn't be fair.  But I did have a fun sail on it.  Blasted up and down, insane planing.  For a beach boat they're great, but not sure about racing them.

Looks like a different rig from the normal sunfish.  The normal sunfish has a laser style mainsheet and don't think they have kickers, or maybe that's just the beach verision [without kickers]

The normal version has a Lateen rig. Out of fashion, now...
