Has anybody got a Laser 2000/Vago trailer in their garden that they can measure the width of?

I need to know how wide it is as it's widest point.

at a guess it's a standard West Mersea 275 road base isn't it? Possibly a 250?

About 6ft 3 ish.

We managed to get the Vareo, on a WM250 over a 6"6 bridge with about an inch on each side spare.

So if its a 250, which it probably will be, it'll be about that wide.

I dont think the 270s are wider, just longer?

6ft 3in would be good. We've a gap between some railings to get access to the back garden.

the only difference between the 250 and 275 is length the width is the same

just don't end up with the towcar looking like this...

I think it will be a 250 wm trailer, 250 is what 400's 300's sit on, 275 things like 5k's and boss fit on!

No of course not! Just working out all my options!

It does seem though that I could get a monohull into the garden which swings the balance a little - ignoring the knee thing.

My Laser 2000 and Vareo both use the West Mersea 250 trailer base.

This fits through the 6` 6" defined gap approaching the sailing club - with less than an inch on either side....
