I was chatting to a couple of members of staff at Alton Water today........it appears that there's somebody with a 'Cherub' who wants a place in our boat park (there's a waiting list!)

Weird! I moved my boat today closer to the entrance of the compound and i had a choice of many spaces (or maybe they're just tidying up their boats at home).

Has Flat Stanley or flying triffle sold?

Look on the bright side... we'll get a free go in a cherub soon

ps. Webmuppet, i'm still not sure if you ever go to work?

Don't know if the triffle has sold but it's not in it's space at the moment.

Yep, The Flying Trifle has gone to Holland. I'm keeping FS for a year or so more, I have decided.

Is Flat Stanley one of those Cherubs normally found at Bough Beech and if it is when are you guys going to get out there and race it?

I heard the name Matt Jackson who it was, I thunk he's on this forum aswell?

It's good to hear some more proper boats are coming to Alton. I hope he does get a space soon as i've never seen a cherub before

No, Flat Stanley is based with me at King George and I sail it pretty much every weekend. Trifle was at BBSC, a long with Born Slippy (the pink one). Atum Bom used to be based there and is soon being replaced with a brand spanking new Elway 5/Fyfe/C-Tech with home made T-foil combo. I'm very excited! However, I don't think either have plans to stay at BBSC for much longer.
