Whats the hull weight and wetted surface area of these, as it must be reasonably high to carry that much sail area.

12 hulls are around 40-45kg, and are pretty skinny. I'd expect the wetted area to be in the same sort of ballpark as a National 12 or Cherub, possibly in between the two, lighter than the N12 and probably much the same weight as the Cherub, bigger spars balancng the hull under minimum Cherub weight.

So, no, what carries the sail area is talent:-)

SO probably about 2.6 to 2.8m2 if you can believe these clever boat design programmes...an I14 would be closer to 3.5m2 wet area just as a comparison
