For those of you that don't run old grannies over in Tesco, tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday, or for all those hungry tummies, PANCAKE DAY!!!

You need, Egg, Flour, Milk and then your fav filling.

Lemon and Sugar for me!

I've given mid-week booze since New Year (2 or 3 glasses of red wine on an evening). Amazingly, I've lost half a stone in that time with no other effort. Giving it up at the weekends as well may be a bridge too far but I'll give it a go.

I refused to allow my wife to buy a deep fat fryer about 8 years ago and told her that if she wants chips I will buy them from the chippie.

We have chips twice a year now - if that often
