I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions:

I'm shortly going to be trailing a Dart 15 halfway across the country but have a problem with the masts - the car we're using doesn't have a roof rack and at the moment the two mast halfs are just lying on top of the tramp.  Clearly I can't trail it like this and in the absence of dedicated fixings on the trailer I need to find a way of safely securing the two mast halves during the journey (safe for other road users and safe for the masts/boat.

Any suggestions please?

i would tie them firmly down to a hull, with ropes between any shrouds and the mast. that is assuming the sections are shorter than the hulls, if they are longer, tie them down even more firmly and stick a bright coloured plastic bag on the back of them.

JayCB, you don't have to post the same question twice. I have responded in your other post.
