Does anyone have any idea on where to find cadets in the north. There are a few but they're a little over budget! Probably up to £1100-1200 max, also any ideas on which is the best type of construction?

Thanks

By north what do you mean?

there are 3 for sail at West Kirby. ones £1200, other two are 1800 and 2250 - all glass fibre construction.

Best construction materials depends on what your looking for - and who you talk to. What are you looking for them for?

Pm me for more details.

*edit* lmao jsut realised ur a wksc person...

I'd be surprised if there were a shortage.  Only a few years ago Bough Beech SC bought a few and then sold them on and similarly Sevenoaks School bought a dozen or so and has now sold them.  Its a boat that went through a revival and then dropped off the radar so there must be many waiting for a buyer.

I expect you'll get loads of replies on this thread.

Anyone know where to find cadets?

There are hundreds of the buggers hanging round work and asking stoopid questions!! I hate summer camp season!

oh there is no shortage of them... Tho most are further south, and slightly more expensive than that.

My other bit of advice is wait till after the worlds to by them. Think its nats about this timem and worlds in a week or so - they are being held at pwllheli (?sp). I bet you that there will be many more boats for sale after that as ppl intheir last year will hold on to them just to sail in the worlds and why not, they are in the uk for once.

If the sailors are telling the truth there are at least 2 cadets planning to sell up after the worlds from Draycote to move on to 29ers
