Who's going, who isn't? I'm going after only sailing in a Cherub once in a 1/2! Should be interesting. Obliviously trying to get some practice in but with only a month left theres not many opportunities

Nice one Ross, what boat you sailing? I've haven't sailed with my crew for nearly 2 years so I wouldn't worry too much! I'll be there in Badgers Nadgers.

I'll be there with "Natural Born Skiffers".

I'll be with Christophe Brigaudeau owner of the famous "Norvegian Blue". We have never sailed together and are weighting close to 155 kg...

I hope "Halo Jones" will be there too from France.

I'm in "Perro Loco" (spe). It's 05 rules with a red kite (because the colour IS important). BRAND NEW sails all the way from New Zealand .

PS: In case you didn't know, our sponsors have given us 200 pints of lager!! Not sure what lager though.

You'll be fine! I'd only sailed a cherub once, about 6 months before last years nats, and only crewed other boats oce or twice in between, managed to come 3rd overall, and 1st 97 rules boat. Stu must have been doing a fair amount to make up for me!

I think im going, sailing with Ben (Isis).

So we might as well just not turn up and give you the pot now shall we??

I'll be there for the last time in Suicide Blonde,  she's now advertised on the Cherub website.  I've decided that I'll only get my finger out and finish the new boat if I don't keep distracting myself fomr the job in hand by weekends blasting around in her, also free up some lolly for buying lots of shiny new carbon bits!

Perro Loco - we were reliably informed is the real Spanish for Mag Dog.

But lets face it Loco Perro sound much better....

DOG MAD!!!! forever Woof!

Ross enjoy it. She's a great ship. And super comfy for cewing in the light stuff, just sit backwards on the fore deck and have the helm trap up to the shroud.

My crew and i'd love to be there. Obviously only if we buy kipper but we're going to look at her the sunday after next and have a go on Beans  but i don't think we'll make this year as we have no-one to look after us. Will definatly be there next year as Rory (crew) will be driving

Well maybe the disadvantage of lightweight skiffs is that they get blown around the dinghy park a a bit???

We went out for the start on the Wednesday (canned as soon as we got there), got a bit silly in 38 knot gusts with my barn door 2005 main, still the old girl self-depowered by shedding a batten and got us back home again with no major dramas!

No we got it back, in fact all of the dinghys seem to be ok, althought there are some very sunk cruisers and river boats

Weymouth didnt get hit by the flooding but I did miss most of the first day due to not being able to tow through the floods to get there...

The irony of having a boat trapped by the flooding was definantly lost on me.

That said when I did finaly get down there (and had finished fitting out the boat in the dinghy park) I had some epic sailing and nothing major broke which I was quite chuffed with being the first time on the water for my boat after a pretty serious facelift.
Next year Im gonna try and do some of the races too.

I did not realise it was your boat you were sailing, I thought it was still miles away from being finished.

Congrats on getting it on the water. If I had been switched on enough to notice it I would have made sure to take some pictures of it.

If it doesn't break it's too heavy; if it does it wasn't built right
