Draft 1.1m

Thats a very shallow venue Villian, you only have to push the foils down enough to clear the boom so you might get away with 0.7m draft

better still, just leave the boat at Garda and get a cheep flight once a month.

Andy,

Go on borrow one it would be a laugh to see you try and get it round Hunts.....almost as much fun as when we had the Vortex for a trial day.

Its not too bad, the Vareo can be sailed there fine most of the year ( until we loose some water over the summer .. and then "The Treestump" and "The Road" become problematic ...

I think I am about a few inches from hitting the tree currently ... and I do my best to stay away from where I know it too be! (Hit it last year .. Big Bang!!  and a friend has just chipped his 300's daggerboard on it! )

I think the biggest problem would be the actual size of the lake ... but then again I am learning to drive, so should be able to visit Datchet every weekend ...

Anyone fancy letting me have a go on their boat now ... Give it 6 months and I should have enough saved to buy a cheap 2nd hand one!
