....Contender 500! It needs some work but the hull and rig are sound.

I need to name it! I have a few ideas, mostly after song names.
Young Lust,
Shadow Play,
No plane no gain, (did i spell that right?)
Something Else,
Fools Gold, (yellow hull)
Albatross,
Rocket Queen,
Flash,
Running on Faith.

There are more, but i like these the most......any suggestions?

The name doesn't matter as long as you get out on the water this eve - good winds for an easy sail and should be warm(ish)!.  Start at 7pm, I'll be there in the 800.

My Contender was going to be called "rival contender" but then I sold it.

I might come out tonight in the 3000, work permitting. I wont race the contender for a while, not until I get used to her!

If I don't come out in the 3000, I'll just be swimming around the contender (and occasionally sailing her!).

There is a young lad in the Blaze fleet who has a boat called Stiff Ripples....the previous name was something akin to the former president of Yugoslavia.

He was asked to change it as the club he was in felt the name inappropriate.

That's rubbish, I hope he told the club where to go.  I was going to call my [wooden] enterprise 'Hard Wood', but decided 'Wild Wood' was slightly less risque.

Oi! No. See my sig (hover over 'Contender').

Hairy dangler was a memorable Contender name form the past. Neither of mine have names but if mine was Yellow I'd call it 'Streak'... keep thinking, it works on several different levels.
