Duncan Truswell at the RYA has one he 'might sell'. He's currently based down south but travels extensively - email him to find out details.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of them up for sale at the moment.

You just need to find the nearest club that's got one rotting in the back of the dinghy park... Any nominations?

Wilsonian will win if you are talking Boss.  About 2 years ago there was one sitting in the corner and it claerly hadn't been out for years.  Then the owner turned up and replaced many of the ropes and the metres of shock cord and its still sitting in the corner unused.

Might be worth looking at:

The boats are based in the South but when we sold ours we would have been willing to deliver as the market for them wasn't that great and would have been willing to put the effort in to sell the boat. There is also another one on the class association site and Ebay has them spring up from time to time.

hi  scottish_tornad

have you tried posting on the "Scottish Skiff Racing" forum...   I think there's  one- or  two   L5K's in Scotland - some of the chaps there could poss. help.

If not try the Laser 5000 association.

you'll struggle to get a boat for less the 1500 quid - better off aiming between 1500-2000 - you get  a lot boat for your money .......5 metres long - 8 metre mast

Cheers

  fin.
