Picking up from another thread, the 2007 Marine Design Int. Loch Ness
Monster Race is on!



A final sponsorship agreement was reached this morning with Marine
Design International.

They generosity ensures that the Race will go ahead, and we look forward
to working with them to provide a unique Long Distance Race, second to
none.

To add to the mix, we have a £500 cash prize, as noted by Mr Doo, from
Blaser Chiropractic at the Park Practice

The race will run on 25th August 2007 from the village of Dores, just 8
miles from Inverness & the A9.
Sunday 26th will be held in reserve.

Have to say huge well done to the skirt wearing boys from the north for landing sponsorship and putting this event back on. For those of you who didnt make it last time you missed out on a great weekend, try your hardest to go this time you wont be dissapointed.

We have a potential entry from South Korea! Sorry, Micky, looks like you
might miss out on the furthest travelled prize this time!

An old SNECCA hand ex-pat from South Shields is planning to co-ordinate
his holidays back in the UK with The MDI Monster Race.

Looks like we are going global!

Basilica, the Extreme 40 catamaran, have announced their intention to take part in the MDI Loch Ness Monster Race.

Rumour has it that the Tornado fleet are planning a good turnout.

bin oot the country a mere few days and Nessies bagged a VX 40 and F28 !!!!!!!

 

this race looks like its going to be a  mega belter

 

glad I signed up quick - any sponsors of an extended mast - sails - going to be lots of exposure with these dudes above sailing !!!!!
