any suggestions please (apart from 'Join a Gym')

are some XL wetsuits bigger/smaller than others - are there any Finn/
Phantom sailors out there who have found out that maybe a certain make
of wetsuit is bigger/more flexible than others for the more rotund sailor -

Im 6ft 2inches and 18 stone - solid muscle... honest :) - have tried
Ronstan's longjohn xl but it was just too restrictive

cheers

If your part of the "Admin Group" doesn't that mean you work for Y+Y??
Surely your collegues could point you in the right direction?

Anyway, I know of people that sort of size that use Gul wetsuits. Can only recommend you try them on, (hopefully without working up a sweat!)

yep - Im here in sunny Southend on Sea - but Im the only one here who's
been anywhere near an XL wetsuit never mind a XXL - so I thought
personal referals from other 'heavy weather experts' better than just what
it says in the varioous catalogues we have on file - as I said before, some
XLs are bigger or more accomodating than others - just like some size 11
shoes fit me and some dont

Top tastic Turnturtle....Royston Massey's finest wetsuit offering

I'm of similar proportions and foudn the gul sleeveless longs with a dougie gil spray top and a couple of rash vests with a v.light fleece layer was good for 10'c

I did investigate moving away from "front loaders" into some offering from surfing with a rear zip so as not to irritate my six pack with those two flying muscles on the side....ok, I think a barrel is much preferable to a mere six pack!

Have you browsed through all the wetsuits at Thorpe Bay Marine next door to your office?  Surely they have something that fits you??

Or even a bit further up the road to the Wet Suit Outlet. I am similar proportions and the Gul Steamer I got from there is excellent
