Hello All

I'm just about to re-string my B14 and have been looking for some deals on some dyneema.

I've found some Liros (Regatta 2000) 5mm dyneema for 84p a metre which is significantly cheaper than the Excel Racing. I've only used Marlow in the past but have come across this stuff and was just wondering what people though about it?

Also, anybody got any comments on the Poly dyneema that P&B are selling?

Cheers

Sounds a good deal, however will have to see if the core is plaited or twisted. I wouldn't touch it if it is twisted. If plaited winner.

I believe the Lyros stuff has a different outer which makes it harder to taper (if you were goingt to do that ...)

I've been a bit disappointed with some Lyros stuff - but maybe I shouldn't have expected so much for the price.

Stretch seemed OK, the problem was more with the outer being soft and living a separate life to the inner. But for some applications that's unimportant.

Now, if it's critical, I stick to Marlow.
