Hi guys, just wondering if anyone's got any great ideas for cleaning gel coat - my boat's got non slip moulded into the deck and i've tried sponge/scrubbing brush and a pressure washer and I just can't shift the dirt that's in the cracks. Anyone got any ideas how to shift it?
Cheers
Ben

If the pressure washer won't shift it then your fecked !

(and be carefull with the pressure washer, you don't want to "peel" the boat")

Have you tried Jif (cif?) first ?

Halfords sell tubes of rubbing compound near their paint sections, it is slightly abasive but won't leave a matt finish (still shiney!), try applying a bit on a duster and rubbing on the stained areas, then buff with a clean duster.

You need to talk to that well known shouter of our time:

BARRY SCOTT HERE

What the Cillit Bang is quite good at removing most things in all honesty, but elbow grease with a side serving of hard work is probably going to be your only answer

Cilit bang is the answer to most of lifes problems. The rest are solved with ductape but I feel that may not be the answer here...

Cheers everyone, the problem isn't so much that the dirt won't shift it's that the non slip pattern makes it really difficult to get at. It's not straight lines so i can't scrape down them either. A nail brush might work but there's a lot of deck on a 5000!
And Isis that's probably more than sad, it's worrying...
