Hi all,
I am writing to promote a research study at the University of Plymouth that is currently being conducted to assess the UK home computer user's perceptions of online security, in association with Trustguide (a DTI funded joint project between British Telecom and Hewlett Packard) and consists a major part of my own Masters degree. This project has been commissioned by the Government in order to better understand citizens' use of the Internet.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would be able to help me by following the link below and completing a web-based questionnaire regarding the use of your home computer. Especially as web forum users your own experiences and insights will be very useful. The form should take approximately 5 minutes to complete and all information will be used anonymously.

It would be additionally helpful if you could forward this on to any UK based friends or colleagues who could also provide assistance.
Thank you for your time and co-operation.

p.s. Sorry you feel this is spam or advertising and if its in the wrong thread, trying to get as broader range of people as possible not just those technically minded or even those focusing on computer security issues
