yesterday at chew valley the disabled club has lots of challengers and also a boat called a windrider which is also a trimarang, yesterday one gust actually managed to capsize that boat which had disabled people onit, no-one was hurt but the person that was sat on the windward side was catapulted further than the mast it then took three hours to get the boat back up with 5 rescue boats and about 20 people so i got there at 11 and didn't get sailing till four ------------- Josh Preater http://www.bu22.co.uk">  BUZZING IS FUN

wimps! we had steady F7s at the mouth of the crouch! ... also some
mahussive squalls topping 9 where we just had to sit it out n
wait....also i pitchpoled a laser for the first time! pretty awesome
actually, amazed i didnt break anything!

Was an awesome day over at Burton SC. It was probably only blowing 4ish with the occasional monster gust. Singlehanding Laser 2's with huge tiller extensions is the only way to sail them... apart from the MAHOOOOOSIVE sheet loads as you have to take out the bridle part of the system to allow for the extension so its like pulling a rope which is attached to a brick wall.... well worth it though! Laser 2 singlehanding on a beam reach from the wire.... AWESOME
