I have an RS600 and the bottom piece of the Angel Mast is cracking up, I wondered if any one out there had either an old bottom section kicking around or the first metre of the main mast I can use to mackle up a replacement?

Or any other ideas to affect a repair?

Ive got a few bits of RS mast sat about but none going spare im afraid...

Depending on the nature of the cracking it may well just be possible to reinforce around it without replacing the section but I wouldnt want to recomend anything without seeing the damage end even then it would be better to wait for someone more experianced than me to comment...

I dont know how fussy the 600s are about the one design aspect but you may want to check with them about slapping a load more carbon on to repair it if you intend to race above club level...

Alternativly of course as suggested by Mr Jeffers: There will be a cherubber somewhere who would take it off your hands so you can get partway towards a new one.
