Hi

Does anybody know of a deceased international moth going spare. I have a few idea's i'd like to try out. I am on a restricted budget so would only concider cheap or free hulls. If you have a hull that is just in the way I am interested. Would preffer a thinnish hull but not to thin!

I only need the hull. I dont mind holed or cracked hulls.

I am in Mk but will travel for the right hull!

Many thanks

Hi James

There's a broken Magnum hull at Grafham, I'm sure you could have for free. The owner has given away all the gear so apart from fixing the hole in the bottom it would cost a bit to put back on the water since you would need a rig, foils wings and tramps.

A better route may be to buy a complete boat and try out your design ideas from there. Our website http://www.int-moth.org.uk - www.int-moth.org.uk usually has boats for sale from a couple of hundred pounds. You can place a wanted ad for free on the site and you can join our yahoo group and post your request there

By the way, these days, no hull is too narrow. They're rarely in the water.

Have fun Simon

Its not going to have a sail on it!

I am going to put riggers on it and use it to build up my fitness!

Simon

Who should I speak to to get my hands on the hull?

James

On a similar theme, I'm on the lookout for an old, wide moth (Magnum 3/Phobia or similar) or a scow moth. There's none on the class site - anyone know of an unwanted one?
