And...hmmm...no, Rick is right, the Moth is about it, really, seeing as the MXRay has no class to be pissheads with! All the other fast classes need some weight behind them - you'd even get people telling you you are too light for a Topper on this forum!

There's an Osprey with your name on it somewhere Gordon .
But, in response to the original question, a Moth would give you endless hours of amusement.

yeah go for a moth. Or what about a hoot, dunno when they will be over here. Also possibly an OK, or a Pico, or Topaz with a trapeze? ha ha ha

A Class.... BIG fleet racing too.

Or you could try an F-16...... Race one up with main and kite, or put on a jib and second set of trap wires and race 2 up on the same yardstick...... Also very close on yardstick to A's and F-18s.

i think i know the awnser to why there are not meany fast boats for small people
to go fast you need lots of power and to do that you need lots a waight to keep it going the same way as you are
may be we need a boat where there is balest on top of the dect and we can move it around wit a rope sistem or with your hands
a bit like a IC seat

I think Hannah Clark was 54kg and about 5'4" when she was second in the Int. Canoe worlds.
The seat evens things out a lot.

How about the 6' skiff that people keep on talking about developing? I think you'd need to be about 50 kg to stop it sinking when in displacement mode...

6 skiff was sailed by 3 men

10 footers - crewed by 4 men

Classic 12 footer sailed by 5 men

I don't know about anyone else but my 6 foot skiff is going to have enough rag to never sail in displacement mode in normal conditions. If there is no wind then I'll be in the bar!

for everyone watching
A cat is the answer.
A class, or F16, Shadow for Inter 17. Or even a Sprint 15 (Ex Dart 15) if you want to travel a little slower...

What fantastic pics of the 6' skiff!
I'm not sure that is exactly what others had in mind for a modern one, though...I would expect rather less hull volume and slightly more controllable sail shape. Bowsprit looks about right, though!

As you can see the Hysterical Skiffs aren't remotely planing boats, dragging a hole through the water that a cruiser would be embarassed by. They probably exceed "hull speed", but only through sheer brute force. Glorious boats though!

That Redeye thing looks kinda familar to me... Can't find a legal photo of the boat I want, a boat called Mammoth, designed by a young Kiwi called Bruce Farr in 1966, but this one is similar...
The NZ International Moths of the Farr era were very nice looking boats - while modern Moths are great too its a pity that there isn't anything like the 60s one about. If only the Europe had hived off from the International just 5 years later...
