It's a great show ... hope to see you there.

It would be nice to put a face to some of the names on this forum ... I'll be on the MPSCA stand so please come and introduce yourself.

regards,

Rick

Why don't those that want to be indentified print a sticky label of their avatar and stick it to their chest.  It would be subtle but would work between forum members and be quite meaningless to anybody else.

Anyone would think you want an excuse the scan the Ladies chests whilst claiming to be in search of BNS...

Oh yes!! That's a great idea, especially for BWD!

Carshalton is going to wear his Carshalton FC t-shirt, I'll be drinking coffee on the Contender stand and you, redback, what are you going to do? Sit in your web?

I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of people this year. Last year, it was a bit of a hit-and-miss event, when we learnt afterwards how many forumites we could have met. This year, let's get a meeting point on the Y&Y stand, complete with Polaroid so we can take mug-shots of us all, then add those to the kiddies' treasure hunt! Could be a new type of entertainment, eh, Mark J, what do you think?

How can you wear somthing without consent ... unless you are passed out?

My best drag moment was when I wen't to a New Years party as Morticia from the Adams Family ... I had a plunging neckline that required me to shave a V in my chest hair. Luckly that was in the days before camera phones ...

Two suggestions

1. we all meet up for a pie and a pint after the show Saturday - (after the rya reception (as I never say no to a free drink) Any suggestions?

2. Y&Y print a sticker (like from charity collections) and forum members can collect these from the Y&Y team to identify them to other members.  Y&Y could also collect information about who's at the show and hence aquire valuable marketing info.

Yep - come on admin  Organise a Y&Y forum sticker and we'll all wear them - i'll be going on a sunday and really want to see some of you - i could put a face to some of the more obscure avatars - gruitt's foot, TT's cute little pig...etc.

Cost of 4 tonner = £7925.00 inc VAT
Cost of Cherub = about £6000 (depending on spec)

4k main = £772
Cherub Main = £640

4k jib = £345
Cherub jib = £315

4k kite = £659
Cherub kite = £445

Doesn't seem so expensive now.
Any, we digress. Maybe you should pick up a price list at the show so you can sort your own facts out.

ahh i am going to be a good boy  just if she asks u to get in her car turn and run.  or maybe sprit towards the car depending on the situation.

strawberry i think u got abit tectnical with the old specs of the boat etc.  and a uptodate 4tonner will only cost u £3000.  compare to the £7000 cherub.

i think alex was only joking,  just dont take things so serious.

on the saturday i will be wearing my carshalton fc training top so say hi when u see me,  (by the way it says carshalton fc on the back)

Il be there wandering about the show on the saturday and on the cherub stand sunday morning, If anyones not sure what I look like: I'll be the one with bits of mast and half built daggerboard under my arm

I definantly agree we need Y&Y stickers...

If anyone wants my number to meet up at some point drop me a PM or find me on MSN (in my profile). You will, of course, have to go through an extensive screening program but being under 25, blonde and female will give you a tidy head start.

I'm gonna stick a Strawberry on my arse!!! Can't wait to see everyone going round staring at people's backside!

Il hold you to that sir..

We all have a week to prepare still.... why not get some iron on t-shirt transfers and personalise t-shirts.

I fear that if we only go for stickers some of us may get in a bit of trouble as you may have to stare for quite a while before you can make out what it says!

If you want a big heavy stable family boat to sail in buy a Wayfarer! Arguably much more spacious and much more confy that the new breed of rotomoulded rubbish.

Not got a bad PY either for a skip with sails and the best bit is in a blow you can scare the sh*t out of Lasers as you plane up behind them....watch them scatter!

Feva's aren't that bad- i would rather sail one than a mirror or cadet. (though that laser sailor must have been a bit crap)

Mike you should move into an Rs200 after the Feva- just a bigger and better version.

nope to much of a team game. but yeh the laser sailor wasnt that gd. and the boat wasnt out of control until we hit the wave infront. then it wasnt too bad untill the rudder stopped working. but that was fun. note: remember to bear away.

the only time i've ever had a feva beat me was at the bloody mary this year because the 4.7 doesn't move at all in wind that light/no wind because it doesn't get enough momentum from the tiny little sail and stuff

sorry for stating the obvious back there

You all wanted to be able to be able to identify people... you got it
you wanted badges? badges are so 1990s...

Im gonna be wearing a white shirt with my username across my back... if no-one comes to say hi after all this effort, I wont be impressed and im expecting other people to follow my example

Customised T's are the order of the day. I'll be sporting a similar number to Ben (Isis) and mine will say Tim the Tank (i'm not a midget).

See you all there on sunday..... PARTY ON!

Hmm no sure if that's going to be quite enough, laser47. If I stop everyone matching that description on Saturday, I will speak to A LOT of young people!

But your accessory might be odd-looking enough to be a good clue... Any pics?

I think you will need protection on the underground villain!

For me well I am 6ft tall with red hair and strange right eye (no pupil or iris) and I will be there Saturday, I can't tell you what I will be wearing as my good lady will accessorise me in the morning before we leave!
