Yes, SCM allows booking of all types of events, Racing, Trains, Social etc.

Each event can have one of more ticket types.

You can offer free tickets for instant registrations or charge and allow on-line payments.

We just do those on our normal club website with the Event Manager plugin for WordPress. Doesn't cost us anything over the normal hosting either.
