Just acquired one of these for the crotch goblins. Son is a decent Topper sailor, daughter has grown out of her Oppie, and was competent, but not super confident.
Me - in Lasers so long I have a ILCA plate on my orse.
So none of us know the genniker launch and retrieve sequence.
Who does what, and when?
Thanks in advance

Kites? They come with crews don't they?

Simple really. Say 'get the <insert suitable expletitive>ing kite up/down'

A slight diversion, we have just been given a Topaz, it has a standard Topper Dagger board. Does yours?

You're welcome. Getting the bl00dy thing wired up correctly is the first hurdle, I came to assy's for the first time when I bought the Spice and regularly got the downhaul the wrong side of the halyard or the sheets or something similar. A mate had a Topaz (in which he learned to sail dinghies after years windsurfing) and while was are a bit small for a couple of average sized blokes (he usually sailed it solo) it was still a hoot in F6. Excellent little boats Thumbs Up.

BTW, get son crewing for daughter (as well as t'other way 'round), he'll probably grow bigger than her so should be the one on the trap when they move up to a 29er Wink
