You chose the right time to go off then
It was great out actually, just the right amount of wind, some twinning but not enough to be unmanageable. Not too much teabagging, just enough to help us clean the boat
No pics I know about Isis.. maybe a good thing!

Do you think you'd see him in a SMOD? You'd best ask him..
Anyone got any idea how much 2 panels of Mylar are going to cost

Maybe strawberry is trying to rid the world of SMODs, and have development classes be the only dinghys. This "accident" could just be the beggining of his master plan

The damage.. not as bad as I first thought, the top window's completely written off but there's only a small rip in the mylar of that panel. The other panel's ripped at it's widest point though!

Anybody want to join Curly Ben could bid on these

I assume you are bidding for both at once - I wonder what the reserve is - does anyone have a spare £2000????

Think he's being optimistic asking that, I paid £1800 for mine with a lot more kit (inc some brand/very new sails), fairly new trailer and a newer hull too. Also I'd be very suprised if you could get a new rack for £50-150!

Yeah I guessed that JP but the extra kit/trailer/newer hull/complete boat! would add more than £300 onto the value of mine over those two I think. Maybe I just got a very good deal but the boat missing a rack was being advertised by the same guy on ebay a few weeks back, think it got bids up to about £250 but didn't meet the reserve so didn't sell. No one bid above £1000 last night so I still reckon he's being optimistic asking 3 grand, especially as few people want/need two boats!

I'll get it properly repaired, probably at P&B, I'd rather spend the extra rather than risk screwing it up! And I want to get back on the water as quick as possible, so it makes sense to get it done profesionally!
