I've seen one of these at the club recently.

Seems a hell of a lot cheaper than the go pro. Anyone out there tried it yet? or better still, anyone tried both?

Yep, I have an SJ4000, seems very good to me, comes with loads of different mounts and I have been very happy with my purchase. I have mounted it at the top of my mast, on the bow of my laser and on my mast lowerdown all without requiring having to buy any extra mounts. I have never used a gopro so cannot compare.

Ta for that.

Which video editing software do you use? Have you uploaded any vids to you tube?

I used MS movie maker, it is free.
I have 1 video on YouTube but can't find a link at present.

Good to know that Movie Maker works, file format can be an issue with some vid cameras. There is one Laser video done with the SJcam on youtube. The pic quality looks pretty good.

One for the Christmas list me thinks.
