Usually it's me, but last year I lost out to junior space chef cadet, so this year it's revenge of the pith, I may have to go thermo nuclear maple syrup with my lemon..

I can do some great flips, but I always make the entire house stink of burning oil. How do you stop that? (Yes, I did try shutting the kitchen door.)

Use butter instead, then it stinks of burning butter...

Pan not too hot.

Faint smear of butter using kitchen paper. If any - proper non stick = nothing else needed.
