Our paths only crossed once but I know he worked hard for all cat sailors.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Nick was a real mover and shaker. He had an enthusiasm and energy in everything he did and particularly for all things catamaran. He was a major force behind the reinstatement of a catamaran class at the Olympics for 2016.

He enjoyed life and did everything with a twinkle in his eye which was infectious. He was always able to get willing volunteers to help in any endeavour he was engaged in.

He was a genuine nice guy and a gentleman

He will be sorely missed by many........

Hours spent campaigning together for the return of the Olympics, Nick was tireless (and extremely amusing) in his efforts and we can all be grateful for having known him.  RIP Nick, you'll be greatly missed.  Simon, Varvara and the whole Wildwind team

I attended the funeral on Friday and can inform all that it was extremely well attended, so much that it was standing room only inside and outside. Although a sad event it was good to see so many people from all aspects of Nicks life showing their respects.

Nick will be missed.
