We use plastic drums as marks on our puddle and they're a PITA to keep repainting the numbers on.  I've heard you can get fabric covers with numbers printed or stitched on that you throw over the top and close with a draw string or similar and when they get tatty you just take them off and stick them in the wash.

Do any of you use them at your clubs and if so where did they come from? Google is giving me nada.

Never heard of such a thing, but I bet any sailmaker or anyone who makes covers could oblige.
