We've lost another D-One due to ice.

Email me with some if possible - it would be great to put them on this site. Both on and off the photos. Cheers, Mark

I heard there's an Alto racing as well, and an RS100, almost worth a spectate
visit.. I'd like to see how they've prepped the Alto, and the Rs100 v D1
showdown should be interesting, but it's a pursuit isn't it so they stagger
the start? I'd like to see how that works as well.

QM isn't actually that big a deal from here as I remember.

Trouble is there is snow forecast and I'd promised myself a trip up the hills
with a kite and my snowboard tomorrow..

Kitewings er what brand is that?

Foils are favorite if you can blag a Flexi blade say, but I seem to have
flogged every foil kite we ever owned so I shall take my regular kitesurf
kite, last time I went 4 yrs ago now it was the most fun I'd had in ages.

We took my truck cranked up the stereo in the middle of the field and
just had a total blast..

It's way easier than kitesurfing with the added bonus of being able to just
stop have a chat catch your breath then just tool off for another run..

Problem tomorrow may be getting a kitesurf kite small enough, down
here it's forecast v windy and from the East = mental cold, but Goretex
Glove and Snowboard jacketed up, should be cool (pardon the obvious).

I really would  have enjoyed watching all you enthusiasts at the BM from the comfort of my snowed in hillside but the QM webcam is not working. Nor is the temp or wind speed indicator. Can someone climb up the pole and fix this please?

Apparently they are waiting for a part for the PC that runs the webcam / weather station and the delivery lorry has probably got lost in the snow...
