Singlehanded fleet racing solent area

Salvage expert on the news last night said he'd recovered a boat heeled 10 degrees more and most of the cars were undamaged, but they all got scrapped as the manufacturers weren't prepared to risk the liability for any future failures.

more to the point, perhaps, is it blocking the channel for the usual traffic up and down? I haven't seen any notices about the red funnel service stopping, so I assume that's running but I wonder if similar container / high-sides can navigate that stretch or not at present, is there a massive boat park somewhere east of the IOW right now?
