International Rolex Regatta at St. Thomas Yacht Club - Day 1
The three-day International Rolex Regatta kicked off today with “town races” that took sailors from the east end of St. Thomas, where host St. Thomas Yacht Club is located, to Charlotte Amalie, the island’s capital city.

If your sails are filled with the wind on the opposite side to what you want (eg if trimmed for the starboard tack, but getting wind from the port side), you are said to be ‘backwinded’.
