RC Lasers continue sailing at Mudeford Sailing Club
Our second race day turned out to be much the same as the first - hardly any wind and very poor light, which made orientation difficult for old eyes (but didn’t seem to affect the leaders in the same way).

Ballast
A very heavy material, such as lead or iron, placed in the keel of the boat, or in the bilge. It is used to provide stability. In sailing dinghies the crew uses their weight as ballast.
