The annual event was held in light winds with 11 GP14's, 6 Lasers and 1 Optimist.

The first race of the Lasers saw a close tussle between the club champion Eddie Hillman and Alison Young. Young appeared to have the advantage on the beats but Hillman had better downwind speed and eventually won by 5 seconds. Tom Jeffs was a good 3rd. The second race saw Hillman take an early lead which he continued to build, finishing a clear winner. Young was again second and Ian Davies sailed well, finishing a close 3rd.

In the GP14s, Hazel and Norman Quarry got off to a flying start but were slowly overhauled by Carl Jeffs/Sophie Tissiman and Phil. Quarry/Sarah Allen. Much close tacking and spinnaker work saw Jeffs hold on to his lead with Quarry second and Dixon/Tissiman third. The second race saw Jeffs take an early lead, only to be overtaken by some adept spinnaker work from Allen. The eventual winner was Quarry/Allen, 2nd Jeffs/Tissiman, 3rd Dixon/Tissiman.

Lack of wind caused the 3rd race to be abandoned.

The Optimist race was won by Andrew Hibberd.
