A Westerly force 2 to 3 wind and warm sunshine greeted 6 visitors and 5 home club boats at Trimpley SC on Sunday, 25th June.
John Salomonson and crew Seoniad Fleming from South Staffs SC won the first of two back to back races ahead of Carl Jeffs and Matt Winmill from Trimpley SC, with David and Edward Bolton-King from Banbury SC in third place. The top two positions were reversed in race 2 with David and Edward Bolton-King proving to be consistent in third place.
After a break for lunch the third race saw the wind dropping to force 2 then 1 at times and becoming a little shifty. Carl Jeffs and Matt Winmill proved more than a match for the testing conditions taking their second win of the day. The Bolton-Kings enjoyed the conditions too improving one place to second, with John Salomonson and Seoniad Fleming slipping to third.
