Island Sailing Club Evening Race Series - Day 6

58 boats came to the line for week six of the 18 week Evening Race Series.
The easterly wind (though not as forecasted) held steadily for the whole of the race. The slack tide at the start built gradually from the west and continued flooding for most of the race.
All the classes raced within the view of the clubhouse and each had two beats and to good runs, with every boat back by 2040hrs.
In each of the three cruiser classes the first boat to finish held their time on handicap. They were Martin Dent sailing JElvis in in the Fast Cruisers, Mike Norris in a UKSA J80 in the Medium Cruisers and Kevin Downer sailing Ziggy in the Slow Cruiser Class.
