Ovington Inland Championships at Grafham Water Sailing Club - Preview

The Ovington Inland Championships are shaping up to be bigger than ever this year, looking to surpass the 132 boats from 2014. The 505 class are attending for the first time, the UK fleet growing with a 'home' Worlds in 2016 – we've certainly had a busy 18 months since launching our new model at the 2014 RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show. They are joining the established classes at this annual regatta; the 29er, 49er FX, 49er, Musto Skiff, Flying Fifteen, Solution and Phantom.

The 29er class have once again got a huge turnout lined up having reached their entry limit of 70 boats. It's been a non-stop year for the 29ers with a World Championships in Pwllheli, which will culminate in an ISAF Youth Worlds in Malysia over Christmas. 57 29ers have been built by Ovingtons and shipped for this regatta – a limited number will be returning to the UK in the spring.
