Hyde Sails support the Fireball World Championship at Pwllheli

Hyde Sails are proud to be involved with the Fireball Class World Championship. Taking place in Pwllheli at the end of August the fleet now boasts over 100 boats. Sponsoring a day's racing there will be prizes and a new perpetual trophy for the class.

Hyde Sails has a long tradition of involvement with the Fireball, you can go right back to the early 70s and then right up to date with owners still competing with Hyde Sails. Hyde continue their commitment to the racing dinghy classes and in the Fireball the company is represented by Dave Hall who sails his boat regularly in the fleet both on the open meeting circuit and at his home club Blackwater.

Some experienced competitors found the challenge a bit too robust Yesterday's Frostbites in Dun Laoghaire Harbour were a test for organisers and competitors alike.
